Youth Ministries at WCC
Here at Winterset Community Church
Nursery- In our nursery during our Sunday morning services, our goal is to provide care and prayer for every child up to two years old that comes to us. The nursery is staffed by a team of WCC parents, and is available during both services.
Promiseland Jr.- For our 3-5 year old children, Promiseland Junior provides a hands on time to learn stories from the Bible, play games, and do crafts that will make every story more memorable and meaningful. It is also available during both services.
Promiseland- Children from 1st through 4th grade are encouraged 
to attend Promiseland. After worshiping with their parents, children have the opportunity to learn a lesson taught especially for them from one of our volunteer parents. Pictures, activities, puzzles, and stories to take home makes every lesson become more than just a Sunday morning activity.
Promiseland is available at both Sunday services.
Middle School Youth Group- We provide a special youth group for 5th and 6th grade students every Tuesday afternoon from 3:30-5:00 at the church. Right after school, students have only a few blocks to walk to get to the front doors of the church. Lessons each week in youth group reinforce the previous Sunday’s sermon, while games and snacks provide an opportunity to relax and practice community with classmates.
Junior High Youth Group- Specially catered to 7th and 8th grade students, the junior high youth meet Wednesday evenings after sports practice from 5:45-7:15 at the church. Lessons each week in youth group reinforce the previous Sunday’s sermon, while games and snacks provide an opportunity to relax and practice community with classmates.
Senior High Youth Group- The 9th-12th grade students meet Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:45 at the church. Large group games and small group discussions make this a fun and meaningful night for every student involved.
